MEET THE TEAM

Angela Anderson

Owner & Head Instructor 


With over 40 years of professional dance and gymnastics training, Angela leads TT2 in the right direction. She began her training right here in LaGrange, Ga under the wonderful direction of Mrs. Julia Hope. She furthered her career at the University of Georgia earning a B.S. in Dance Education. 

After college, Angela opened the original Tumbletown, where it was very successful for 12 years. She was relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah where she continued to teach tumbling and dance. 

Now that she is back in LaGrange, Angela re-opened Tumbletown right in her very own roots. She is excited to see what will prosper in the coming years. 

Romanzia Thomasson aka "Mrs. T"

Office Manager


Mrs. T has been working with her daughter Angela for over 30 years. With her expertise in book keeping, Mrs. T knows how to keep Tumbletown 2 organized and ready for anything. Her front office has become her second home, so please stop by and give Mrs. T a big smile and hug! 

Mitzi Anderson

Head Dance Instructor and gymnastics coach


Mitzi Anderson is a dancer, choreographer and aerialist. A recent graduate of the University of Georgia, Mitzi earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance. She began her dance training and Tumbletown of LaGrange in 1997 under the direction of Angela Anderson, immediately discovering a love for dance. Upon relocation of her family to Salt Lake City, Utah, Mitzi continued to rigorously train at American Expression of Dance in Draper, Utah under the direction of Anne Weichers. During her time here, she trained in ballet, modern, lyrical, jazz and contemporary where she participated in competition of each style. At the age of 12 her family moved back to LaGrange, then becoming a company member of LaFayette Ballet Company. During her training, she placed on emphasis on ballet and pointe technique, performing lead roles in various ballets. Some roles including Alice in Alice in Wonderland, Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker as well as various divertissement in The Nutcracker. Mitzi chose to continue her training and pursue an education in dance. During her first two years at the University of Georgia, Mitzi joined the Ballet Ensemble where she led the company as the President, she also joined the Spring Dance Concert Company where she trained from world renowned choreographers, including Alexander Munz and Luis Piedra. During the final two years of her education, Mitzi joined the CORE Concert Contemporary and Aerial Company, where she trained on various apparatus including silks, web, single point lyra, double point lyra, and sling. Mitzi served as President of the student choreography organization in the 2016-17 academic year. Through her experience, Mitzi aims to share her expertise and passion for dance with every class she teaches.   

Savannah Pickels

Head Competitive Team Gymnastics Coach


Savannah is a former level 10 gymnast, who recently graduated from Vanguard University of Southern California with her degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science. She was a competitive gymnast for 8 years, and was competing nationally at college level by the age of 12. Although her gymnastics career came to an end by the age of 13, she stayed involved with the sport through coaching. She has since worked alongside Glenn Vaughn, who is recognized in the Gymnastics Hall of Fame. Her firsthand experience, and passion for the sport, as well as her educational background creates a unique perspective on her coaching philosophy and style. She was brought to LaGrange from Orange County California by her husband, after completing his time in the United States Marine Corps. Together, they have a baby boy named Brantley, and a Bulldogge named Chubb (yes, he is named after Nick Chubb –Go Dawgs!!). Savannah is excited to be able to pass on her knowledge and love for Gymnastics to your children, and future athletes! 

Meek Green

Gymnastics, Cheer, & Tumbling Instructor


Meek Green is originally from Douglas, Georgia. He began teaching tumbling in 2001, and was discovered by his mentor Catherine Cook. He started cheerleading his senior year of high school in 2002-2003. That year Meek was selected to attend the Cheer Hawaii USA camp. He received a full scholarship to Faulkner State Community College. Here he attained his 2-year Business Administration Degree. He also cheered at Columbus State University, where he attained a 4-year degree in Business Administration.  
Meek has worked at the following gyms: Freedom , Gym Tech, Ace, Freedom, Freedom of Lagrange, United of Columbus, United of Lagrange, and World Class Athletic of Panama City Beach.  

Traviera Sewell

All Star Cheer/Gymnastics Instructor


Traviera Sewell was born and raised right here in Lagrange, Georgia. She has cheered since before she can remember. She graduated and cheered competitively all four years from Lagrange High School. Upon high school graduation, Traviera attended The University of Georgia. She was a competitive cheerleader for The University of Georgia three years, winning CHEERSPORT Nationals in 2013 and 2014, and placing 3rd at NCA Nationals in 2013. While cheering for Georgia, Traviera had the amazing opportunity of playing a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader during the half time show of the movie Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, as well as being featured throughout one of the Varsity Cheer catalogs. For four years, Traviera was a staff instructor for the Fellowship of Christian Cheerleading teaching camps and judging competitions all across the east coast. She is currently a 6th grade Social Studies Teacher at Long Cane Middle School where she serves as one of the head competition cheer coaches. Traviera will graduate in December with her Master’s degree. 

Krnisha Beasley

Gymnastics/Dance Instructor


Krnisha Beasley is from LaGrange, GA, and has been dancing for 19 years. Her areas of study include Jazz, contemporary, tap, hip-hop, gymnastics, and ballet. She is a graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in Managerial Science.


Krnisha was a member of the Lagrange Angels Dance Studio for 8 years and LaGrange Ballet for 9 years studying under Angela Anderson, Waverly and Nina Lucas, Kristin and Beau Foister, Amy Orr and more. She competed several times at dance competitions in Florida, Texas, Ohio, and New Jersey, bringing home 63 1st-place trophies and a Miss Petite title from Starpower. Krnisha has danced for Zell Miller, Bronner Brothers, Singer Usher Raymond, many nursing homes, Georgia Power, Six Flags over Georgia and Disney World. Her most favorite memories of dance comes from traveling to California, Arkansas, Kansas, Virginia and Texas to teach dance camps to over 200 hundred students while spreading the word of Jesus. From 2008 - Currently, Krnisha has been teaching and assisting at various dance studios in LaGrange, Valdosta,and Atlanta.


She enjoys dancing, listening to music, shopping, learning how to cook and traveling in her free time and also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
